Welcome to another Friday Freebie!
Our winner of last week's soy candle from Irish Rose Creations is Kelly of The Lost Earring! Congratulations Kelly!
This week The Primitive Peddler would like to introduce to you Carol and her husband of Firecrackerkid Primitives! Carol was gracious enough to take time from her busy crafting schedule to provide us with an opportunity for an interview:
What is the name of your Etsy shoppe and how did you choose this name?
Firecrackerkid Primitives. I chose this name, because I was born on the fourth of July; hence, Firecrackerkid.
What types of items do you create?
We handcraft primitive woodcrafts, one-of-a-kind rolling pin racks, rolling pin dough bowl racks, rolling pin cubby racks, and reproduction dough bowl racks and other primitive furnitures.
How long have you been crafting?
Fifteen years
What is your favorite item in your shoppe?
Our one-of-a-kind woodcrafts.
Who or what inspires your creativity?
The love of woodcrafting and primitive home decor.
What else would you like our readers to know about you?
We work out of our home from our garage. We don't own a store so our prices are not as high, as a result of. Hubby and I are both very kind, compassionate, and honest people. We love the reactions of our customers when they receive their woodcraft and the fact that they are happy and a piece of us is in their home.
And as a special treat, Carol has donated this lovely framed piece to be this week's Friday Freebie for one of our lucky readers!

  8. I really like the dough bowl racks even though I don't have any wooden bowls to display. I wonder if they would be strong enough to display stoneware bowls....? http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17992947

  14. That is such a beautiful piece!

From their shop, I also really like the orginial painting by Guy Coheleach entitled "Coming Home." I love looking at rural scenes - they are so peaceful.
